Invest in Schools. K12 Rebuild.
August 4th 2021 is the starting point for our journey to help rebuild K-12 through collaboration. The Summit was created to bring together those who want to be part of this grass roots private sector non-partisan, not for profit volunteer effort to rebuild K-12 education in the US. Key components:
- At the Invest in Schools Summit will focus on three areas: Safe Schools, Healthy Schools, Accelerated Learning. and will look at Federal Funding and how it is sourced, utilized and monitored for effectiveness.
- Rebuild K-12 through collaboration. Our goal is to bring together and foster a community committed to this mission and to build out each of these key areas.
- Our product will be Educational Modules (white papers and guidebooks) for school districts on the best practices and innovative approaches to make schools safe, healthy and to accelerate learning.
- We are seeking those who want to be part of this grass roots private sector non-partisan, not for profit volunteer effort.
The research effort is critical first step. We learn who all the players are and what they do and how we can help them succeed. Our job is to identify the best ideas to assemble a trusted and efficient resource to give guidance.
The pandemic crisis creates an opportunity to take a fresh look at how we approach K-12 education. The federal funding provides resources that if expertly applied can turn the ship. We can help break down silos and foster collaborations that is necessary for the success of K-12 schools.
Our format for the summit is to present the research for each in a fashion that provides the foundational understanding of the current situation in each area which then leads to the discussion debate on the core issues and what needs to happen.
